Out for a nightime walk with a dog, Anthony Newley pauses by an old poster advertising ‘The Strange World of Gurney Slade’. After telling the printed image of Gurney that he made a noble effort, but was just too far ahead of his time, Anthony promises that they could try again some time, only with him in charge. As Anthony walks away the dog comments that personally, he enjoyed the show, and then he too wanders off…
